This month, the curriculum for 4th and 5th graders called for a day at the beach! Throughout the school year, Arts & Athletics Academy students developed swimming and water safety skills at the local pool, and had the opportunity to take these skills to the coast. Students spent half of the day at Mission Bay and the other half at Mission Beach learning how to paddle board, boogie board, surf, and kayak through the Bridge to the Beach program. Thank you to the San Diego Lifeguard Division and parent volunteers for making this educational experience so memorable for our students!
